José Manuel Soria López (nacido el 5 de enero de 1958) es un político y empresario español. Participó en la política regional de las Islas Canarias antes de ser elegido para el congreso nacional y servir como ministro de Industria, Energía y Turismo de España de 2011 a 2016. Se vio obligado a dimitir en abril de 2016 tras ser vinculado con empresas offshore en los Papeles de Panamá.

Soria fue analista de mercados para Venezuela y el Caribe en la Embajada de España en Venezuela entre 1980 y 1981[2], luego fue jefe del servicio de importaciones del ministerio de comercio en 1984[2], profesor de macroeconomía y economía internacional en el Centro de Estudios Comerciales de Madrid entre 1984 y 1989[1], también fue jefe de comercio exterior del ministerio de comercio en 1985, asesor del ministro de economía entre 1986 y 1987 y jefe de gabinete de la secretaría general de comercio entre 1988 y 1989[2].

Fue alcalde de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria de 1995 a 2003.[1][3] Fue elegido presidente del Partido Popular de Canarias en octubre de 1999.[2] Luego fue presidente del Cabildo de Gran Canaria de junio de 2003 a julio de 2007.[1] En junio de 2003 se convirtió en diputado del Parlamento regional, cargo que aún ocupa.[1] También encabezó el grupo del partido en el Parlamento de Canarias. Fue miembro del Gobierno de Canarias como vicepresidente y consejero de Hacienda desde julio de 2007 hasta octubre de 2010[1] Fue diputado en el Congreso de los Diputados por Las Palmas en la X Legislatura[2] Fue nombrado ministro de Industria, Energía y Turismo en el gabinete dirigido por el presidente del Gobierno Mariano Rajoy el 22 de diciembre de 2011[4].

También ocupó el cargo de Presidente del Grupo del Partido Popular en el Parlamento Regional de Canarias desde 2003 hasta 2011. Además, fue presidente del Cabildo Insular de Gran Canaria de 2003 a 2007 y antes de ocupar este cargo fue alcalde de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria desde 1995.
