. RIAM es una empresa que desarrolla tecnología semántica para la creación de redes especializadas y mercados enlazados. Mapas interactivos ofrece una selección de 841 mapas (noviembre de 2012). Incluye un motor de búsqueda basado en facetas y contextos enriquecidos. Ambos son desarrollos de GNOSS.

El 26 de abril de 2016 se hicieron públicos los nombres de los ganadores de los prestigiosos premios Webby, que otorga la Academia de las Artes y las Ciencias Digitales (IADAS). Unos premios a los que The New York Times se refiere como “el mayor galardón de Internet” (Los Oscar de Internet).

El proyecto LinkedUp (Linking Web Data for Education) tiene como objetivo impulsar la explotación de las enormes cantidades de datos públicos y abiertos disponibles en la web, en particular por parte de instituciones y organizaciones educativas.  Entre octubre de 2012 y octubre de 2014, el Proyecto LinkedUp organizó el Desafío LinkedUp: tres concursos consecutivos ( Veni, Vidi,Vici) en los que se buscaban herramientas y aplicaciones interesantes e innovadoras que analizaran y/o integraran datos web abiertos con fines educativos.  El tercer concurso, Vici, se centró en aplicaciones maduras basadas en datos.  Podemos definirlo como las “Olimpiadas de la web semántica aplicada a la educación”.

“El sistema Didactalia es un ejemplo de faro para el uso de la web semántica y los datos enlazados y ayuda a navegar, encontrar y utilizar material de aprendizaje sobre muchos temas diferentes, para diferentes grupos de edad y desde varios repositorios educativos. Los revisores consideraron que se trata de una iniciativa sobresaliente y un gran ejemplo para otros países junto a España”.
