You can access Import@ss directly from this link or from the accesses enabled on the web, the electronic headquarters and the Social Security app. To obtain it you must identify yourself through the following methods:
This system, common in many banking operations, bases the security of the user’s identification on the user’s knowledge of a series of personal data and possession of the mobile device, which must have been previously registered with the TGSS in the user’s name through a secure procedure.

The work life report is the official document issued by the General Treasury of the Social Security in which our work activity is recorded. In essence, the periods in which a person has been contributing to the Social Security System, whether as an employee or self-employed.
The employment history, which contains the dates of registration and cancellation of an activity, as well as the companies we have worked for, the professional activities we have carried out as independent workers or the time we have been contributing in total, will be necessary on many occasions and it is important to know how we can easily obtain it online.
To request our work life report and download it through the Internet, we must go to the new portal of the Social Security General Treasury, Import@ss and access the section Work life and reports.
Once in this new page, we will have to access the procedure Report of your working life by clicking on it. You can access your request by clicking on the Request report button or, if you are requesting it for another person, click on Request as proxy. You will then be shown the five ways to access the procedure: with Cl@ve Permanente, Cl@ve PIN, digital certificate or via SMS.

From now on, citizens who access their personal area through the Import@ss portal can consult all the details in real time of their working life and the contribution bases used to calculate their benefits.
This tool of the General Treasury of the Social Security, which was launched last April, already allowed to consult the main data of all workers, as well as to process the registration or deregistration of a domestic employee.
Among the new information included in the portal, is the detail of the employment relationship of employees with their company, from the working day, to the type of contract, contribution group, collective bargaining agreement, as well as the insurance company. It also provides information on the amount paid each month to Social Security by the worker and the amount paid by the company.
Self-employed workers, on the other hand, can view their data as self-employed: date of registration, activity carried out, contribution paid, the insurance company and the coverage provided by the Social Security.
Tax agency
The work life report is the official document in which all the periods in which you have been contributing to the Social Security System, either as an employee or as a self-employed person, are recorded.
By requesting it in this way, the certificate can be downloaded at the same time in PDF format and with an electronic validation code. In order to request it through this option, a certificate accepted by the Social Security is required.
The Social Security has a wide network of FNMT-RCM Electronic Certificate Registration Offices distributed throughout the country. There you can register your application by proving your identity and providing the documentation required by the FNMT-RCM for this procedure:
The fourth of the icons that we see in the image above, is the one that corresponds to request the report without digital certificate. If we do it by means of this option and we click on that icon we will get a screen that says: “The sending of the situation reports, requested through this service will be made to the applicant’s address existing in the databases of the General Treasury of the Social Security”. We have to fill in our data and click on the continue button.
