The second paragraph of paragraph 4 of letter B) “Specific requirements” of Annex VII “Vehicles to be used in the aptitude and behavior control tests” of the General Regulations for Drivers, approved by Royal Decree 818/2009, of May 8, shall read as follows: “If propelled by an internal combustion engine, they shall have a cylinder capacity of not less than 250 cm3, a net power of not less than 20 kW nor more than 35 kW and a power/weight ratio of not more than 0.2 kW/kg.”

Both electric motorcycles and scooters are automatic, something that since November is not a problem: if we have previously obtained a license with a manual vehicle – like the B car license – we will be able to drive motorcycles with gears, even if we take the A2 exam with a scooter.
